WHAT WOMEN CREATE WINTER 2020
EDITOR IN CHIEF - Special Issue
I have spent more than a year with my heart and head fully focused on bringing this passion project to life. I have personally selected every artist within its pages and these eleven women are some of my absolute favourite female creatives including @annabellehickson; @aurore.pelisson; @iamronnicole; @jamiebeck.co; @kristinperers; @pollyfern; @silkbyemmacassi; @twiggstudios; @voxpopulideco; and @wormlondon (seen on cover).
I am so proud to have mega talented photographers contributing including @therealdeal_photography; @liveitspoetry @ona__ella and @alohabshaw.
Thank you to every one of you for trusting me with your work and your story. 🙏
This special issue magazine, is a beautiful collection of stories that speak of new beginnings, of community, of slowing down, of connecting with nature and of creating with intention. The idea that creativity is at the heart of everything we do. One of my favourite quotes from this issue is by @kristinperers, who talks about how “art can take you to a place that is beyond the everyday. It can touch parts of us that take us out of the ‘seen’ world to a place of mystery and grace.”
Thank you @jo_packham for believing in me and trusting me to create this magazine and thank you to Susan, Kelly and Wendy and all the team at @wherewomencreate! ❤️
This special issue hits newsstands in the U.S. on October 21st. If you are outside the U. S. and really would love a copy then I would say get in touch with me ASAP as you will need to pre-order to ensure you get a copy. Just drop me a message here and I'll give you the information 😉
Can't wait to share so much more with you about this special issue!!!
