A very beautiful and rare antique mid 19th Century French soft handwoven ticking fabric.

What makes this design so unusual and sought after is the beautiful woven rose damask motif and the less common pink stripe down the centre. It is also very unusual to have such a long uncut length.

Please note that as this is a recuperated fabric therefore there are signs of wear and tear. There are signs of its previous life for example along one side where the upholstery nails have left their trace. These can normally be removed with citric acid but I cannot guarantee their treatment.
