Breakfast on New Years Day

Sorry these are posted a bit late but I wanted to share a few pics of the pure feast we had on New Years day. Breakfast is by far my favourite meal of the day and since Louis arrived I've had to make do with instant microwaveable porridge and a cup of instant coffee. However the magnificent spread on 1 Jan 2010 was something to write home about - so I was sending my husband in to covertly take photos. Not only had they laid it out in a spectacular fashion but the range of food was the best I've ever seen in a hotel. I went first for a plate of fresh fruit salad (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and watermelon) plus a Glenilen farm raspberry yogurt (Ymmmm) and as it would be a crime to not try something hot - I created a plate with grilled tomatoes and mushrooms, a sausage and a poached egg with fresh Hollandaise sauce. My mouth is watering just remembering how delicious it was. Raphael was a little stunned at how I could put away all the food but I reasoned that it was 10am and this would serve as lunch aswell...
