Changing light, Indian summer in Lacoste
There is palpable change in the air, the wind is picking up, the days are shorter and I can already see hints of Autumn on my walks with Charlotte. I'm secretly looking forward to layering up and watching the world in the valley between Lacoste and Bonnieux turn golden.
If you are a fig fan then you need to get yourself to Lacoste pronto, figs are literally falling out of the trees, you can't eat them fast enough.
I have no idea what type of tree this is but it is a marvel of nature and Louis and I have christened it the 'curly -wurly' tree for now until someone more knowledgeable sets us straight. The pod below, the incredible berries and these leaves above are all from the same crazy tree!
