Gorgeous house

A local artist is selling her house and leaving Lacoste for London  after 15 years and in the process she is selling quite a few pieces of furniture which she just won't have room for in her new home. So when I called to her house I fell in love with her studio which she has painted in the most wonderful, vibrant colours .... here is a snap of her reading nook. I would love to have the courage to paint a corner of our space in these gorgeous colours but not sure I'd be allowed!

..and also this antique desk which she is selling. I was thinking of using it as my creative / jewellry-making nook, it has loads of drawers which will be perfect for storing all of my misc crafting paraphenalia which I've accumulated over the years
