Le Picnique Part Une

Love is Very Subtle

Despite the grey ominous clouds which have filled the July skies - I am secretly hopeful that the sun will be coaxed out and that we may be able to host a little picnic party....

The Picnic is my latest obsession, fueled by FlickR pics and Jim Denevans company, Outstanding in the Field, who hosts dinner parties using locally sourced produce in incredible locations

I also came across this gorgeous feature in Design Sponge as part of the brilliant 'Living-in' series - on one of my all time favourite movies, Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle-stop cafe...

pendleton lambswool throw $75, straw bowler hat $48, mason jar beverage dispenser $69, vintage lee overalls $185, mason jar glasses $22 for 12, vintage picnic basket $50, carlisle raw wildflower honey $13.75, honey dipper $1.95.

The Cake Cafe Pick-up a Picnic.

The wonderful people at The Cake Cafe are also offering a 'ready made picnic' which includes a cute picnic basket, napkins, blanket, crockery and of course gorgeous, freshly prepared food from The Cake Cafe Kitchen. They also include a lovely map of their favorite picnic places around Dublin city.
