Madame de Florian

Came across this story in The Telegraph of a Paris apartment which had only just been opened as the owner, Madame de Florian, had left for the south of France before the Second World War and never returned. Imagine the treasures that were found hidden under layers of dust...I would have given anything to have been the person to turn the key in the door and step into this Aladdin's cave.
