Mornings chez nous
Every morning I sit at our enormous maple table, big cup of fresh coffee in one hand and a 'freshly-baked' ...read semi-cremated croissant in the other (lets just say I haven't quite got the hang of our new gas cooker). Our beautiful dining table was gifted to us by my mum for our new life in France and its the same one I sat at for years in my family home in Northern Ireland, oh the stories it could tell!.
I have a ritual of throwing open the shutters in the morning and the beautiful light that streams in every morning never fails to impress me. Through the windows, I have a magical view out into the forest which is turning golden every day. It takes my breath away and I get lost in the light thinking of how lucky we are to have made this move.
Life is good!
