My favourite spot in our new house

I mentioned a while ago that I fell in love with a desk that our friend Nicki was selling, well here it is now in our house. This is my snug, it is where I sit to blog, it stores all of the many many ribbons, beads, cards, fabric scraps, candles and photos that I've been collecting over the years.

Nicki bought it at an antique shop years ago and fixed it up for her son to use as his study desk... I love coming across his doodles  etched into the painted wood.
