Dressing up for Halloween

Love this Pinocchio costume which I found on Cammies blog,  For the Good Days,  she has generously given instructions on her website for anyone who wants to give it a go.

Just before we left Dublin for Provence, I came across some very not age-appropriate kids costumes in our local Supervalu including a sexy cat costume and a moulin rouge costume for girls (ages 3-8)- do parents actually buy these for their girls? I think I might have allowed an audible tut-tut sound to escape. It reminded me of that great scene in Mean Girls where Cady (Lindsay Lohan) turns up as the Bride of Frankenstein and discovers to her horror that all the other girls are playboy bunnies / sexy cats, and she learns that "Halloween is the one night a year when girls can dress like a total slut and no other girls can say anything about it."....thank god I have a boy as I know I was a handful as a teenager!!
